Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Book 3)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - J.K. Rowling, Mary GrandPré Excellent read! very descriptive and world building!

Hemlock - had a great plot twist!
The Mephisto Covenant: The Redemption of Ajax - Trinity Faegen loved it!steamy, sexy and redeeming qualities to the book!
Eon: Dragoneye Reborn - Alison Goodman The book started off really slow but it ended with a bunch of twists and turns.Eona really grew in this book. She was a great protagonist and struggled a lot through her journey but eventually came out on top.I can't wait to read the sequel!
Every Other Day - Jennifer Lynn Barnes Illl say the book started out kinda dull to me. I put it down almost three times and took me about 6 months to finish it. Mind you I prolly read about ten books in between. But I think what made me so unhappy with the first half of the book was that there weren't a whole lot of explanations to why things were happening. Hellhounds? Zombies? Vampires? Really??? The side characters were okay. Skylar was cool but had a hard time envisioning her and her brothers. I liked that she had this large family with all these useful things about them but elliot was just blah to me. They could have left him out and the book could have carried on without him. Bethany? I liked her back story. The popular girl who seems she has everything really has issues. Zev seemed cool until I found out what he was, it just had me going, REALLY??? He really had a chance to shine and that's what she decided to make him? I suppose he was the love interest but the book focused little on that. Which was refreshing cause too many times the girl can't. Think straight because of some guyAll in all I give the book 3 starts. I enjoyed it towards the end but it took too long for the events to become compelling and interesting

Evermore (Immortals Series #1)

Evermore - Alyson Noel too similar to other ya novels to stand on its own.I never connected with the characters it was so painful to finish!
Cinder - Marissa Meyer I think overall the plot was good but it could have been better.I liked the villian but she wasn't present enough. Also i think the author could have done a better good at describing the looks of the characters because i never had a clear picture of what they looked like. The prince was so hot but i couldn't imagine him, because she didn't take much time to describe him!!!

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Book 1)

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - J.K. Rowling, Mary GrandPré loved it it was amazing!

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Book 2)

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - J.K. Rowling, Mary GrandPré loved it!!!the best one in the series, no one paints a world like j.k rowling
The Fold - An Na i loved this book!!!!!!
YELL-Oh Girls! Emerging Voices Explore Culture, Identity, and Growing Up Asian American - Vickie Nam, Phoebe Eng, Gloria Ng I really liked this book.It wasn't really one outlook on the asian perspective but a collection of stories coming from many asian perspectives. I think the book focused very little on women of South asian descent(Indian, Bengali, Thai) women and focused more on women of east asian descent(like Korean, Chinese,Japanese). The stories shed some light on some issues asian american women have to face but i would have liked to see longer stories.
